Acceptance Decision
Once your application has been received and reviewed, the Learning Abroad Center, overseas university, or sponsoring organization notifies you of your acceptance and direct you to complete additional materials to confirm your participation.
Only students who have received official notification of acceptance should complete and submit confirmation materials. Submitting confirmation materials for a program to which you have not been accepted does not confirm a place in that program.
Confirmation Materials
You are responsible for submitting all necessary materials for your program by the date indicated in your acceptance email or within two weeks upon notification of acceptance by your program sponsor. Failing to do so may result in the cancellation of your application.
- Read the confirmation requirements for your program thoroughly. You may need to scroll down to find your program. Pay special attention to such topics as Passports, Visas, Financial Aid, and Academic Planning.
- Download all confirmation forms and informational materials as indicated.
- Submit your completed materials as directed in the confirmation instructions to the Learning Abroad Center. You may also need to complete additional information for the overseas institution or sponsoring organization, to submit directly.
After you have completed and submitted your confirmation materials, the Learning Abroad Center typically does not send out notification once your materials have been received.
Next Steps
You are notified of further post-acceptance steps by your Learning Abroad Center program-specific contact, overseas university, or sponsoring organization.
If you have questions once you have reviewed the confirmation materials, please call or email the program contact indicated in your acceptance or nomination email.
