Print & submit materials to the Learning Abroad Center by the date indicated on your acceptance email:

• Confirmation & Payment Agreement (after completion, a $400 non-refundable deposit is billed to your U of M student finance account)
• Release & Waiver
• Health Information Form
• Transcript Request Form (non-University of Minnesota participants only)
• Housing Request Form (see Housing Options for more information)
• Two Passport-Sized Photos (for administrative use on site)
• Photocopy of Passport
  (If you do not have a passport, submit the photocopy separately when you obtain it)

Print & submit materials to the Learning Abroad Center prior to departure:

• Academic Planning Form (University of Minnesota–Twin Cities undergraduate students only)
• Copy of notarized Power of Attorney paperwork (optional but strongly recommended)

Passport & Visa: All students must have a valid passport and visa in order to enter Spain

• If you already have a passport, make sure that it is valid for the duration of the program, as well as up to six months after your return
• If you do not have a passport, apply for one as soon as possible; go to Travel Documents for more information
• All students studying in Spain for a semester or academic year must obtain a Spanish Student Visa—see Visa Information for more information
