Eligibility
Requirements
This program is open to students with degree-seeking status at the University
of Minnesota. Students meeting the criteria below are qualified to apply for
this program:

| GPA | 2.75 |
| Class Standing | Minimum sophomore standing (30 credits) Complete at least one year of study at the University of Minnesota prior to participation |

Next Steps
Here's what to expect after submitting your application to the Learning Abroad Center:
- The Learning Abroad Center sends an email notification to confirm your application has been received.
- The Learning Abroad Center emails you to request any missing items if your application is incomplete.
- Once the Learning Abroad Center has reviewed your completed application, we email you with your status. This email contains important instructions to follow after you have received your acceptance notice from your university/co-sponsor.
- The university/co-sponsor emails you with a final decision regarding your acceptance into the program. This can take a week to several months.
- If accepted, follow the instructions outlined in the Learning Abroad Center email referred to in Step #3. You need to pay a program deposit to the Learning Abroad Center. (Do not pay a deposit to your university/co-sponsor.)
- Submit additional information and materials if requested by the university/co-sponsor.
- If you choose not to participate in the program, email your Learning Abroad Center program contact and your university/co-sponsor contact.
