Academic Structure
Program type: Study at the VENUSA Institute of International Studies and Modern Languages, a language and culture study center specializing in English for Venezuelan students and Spanish studies for US students.
Level: 1000–3000 level courses.
Term: Fall semester, spring semester, academic year, summer sessions.
Prerequisites: Some courses have Spanish language prerequisites; language placement exam required upon arrival. For upper-division Spanish classes, a B average in previous Spanish courses is preferred.
Courseload: 15 for fall or spring semester; 6–10 for summer sessions.
