Goal

To encourage participation in non-credit experiences abroad.

Eligibility Criteria

• Current UMTC degree-seeking students participating in a co-sponsored non-credit program during winter break, May, or summer 2010 or the Spring Break Costa Rican Coffee from Community to Cup program.

• Preference will be given to unpaid experiences
• Paulo Freire International Community Service Grant recipients are not eligible for this fellowship
• Will not be awarded for travel to a country on the US State Department Travel Warning list

Download and complete the application. Include a 250-300 word essay and submit materials to the Learning Abroad Center before the deadline listed on the application. Distribution of award will require confirmation of participation on a program. All fellowship recipients must purchase CISI international health insurance through the Learning Abroad Center.
